The Palestine Yearbook of International Law, Volume 9 (1996-1997)

This is the ninth volume of a well-established yearbook, which from the eighth volume onwards is published by Kluwer Law International. The yearbook has become widely respected as a reference source of legal material relating to Palestinian issues and as an important forum for the international legal community, particularly for legal practitioners, researchers and scholars. In addition to leading articles on topical problems and issues, it contains key legislation, court decisions and other relevant legal material translated from the original Arabic or Hebrew into English. Volume IX contains leading articles on the judicial review in Palestine, on water management and on the status of Jerusalem. In addition, it presents the texts of Palestinian, Israeli and US legislation. It also includes the texts of several reports on rights and claims of Moslems and Jews in connection with the Wailing Wall, a selection of book reviews and a detailed bibliography.
