Ce livre vise a eclairer le raisonnement d'un grammairien du Xe siecle, Ibn ?inni, a partir de son oeuvre majeure : al-?a?a?i?. Il etudie la maniere dont Ibn ?inni cherche a systematiser le raisonnement explicatif grammatical et tente de mettre en evidence l'approche diachronique de la langue arabe adoptee par Ibn ?inni pour expliquer les anomalies (sawa??) du systeme linguistique, en recourant notamment aux notions de qiyas(analogie) et d'isti?mal (usage).

This book aims to shed light on the reasoning of a 10th-century grammarian, Ibn ?inni, based on his major work: al-?a?a?i?. He studies the way Ibn ?inni seeks to systematize grammatical explanatory reasoning and attempts to highlight the diachronic approach to the Arabic language adopted by Ibn ?inni in order to explain anomalies (sawa??) in the language system, resorting in particular to the notions of qiyas (analogy) and isti?mal (usage).
