The first extant catalogue of rare African, Middle Eastern and Asian manuscripts belonging to Thomas Erpenius (d. 1624), the renowned Dutch Orientalist and Chair of Arabic Studies at Leiden University along with a fully developed introduction about his life, academic journey, manuscripts and their arrival at Cambridge University Library in the 17th century.
