Lexicon Gregorianum, Volume 1 Band I -: Woerterbuch zu den Schriften Gregors von Nyssa

This text presents the results of more than 30 years of scholarly research by the Forschungsstelle Gregor von Nyssa. It constitutes a comprehensive Greek-German dictionary of the language used by Gregory of Nyssa. Not just a simple word list, the book documents Gregory’s complete vocabulary, taking account of the syntax, meaning and connotations of every occurrence of a key word in his writings. Volume One of the Lexicon contains 2208 entries covering the letter alpha . The complete Lexicon comprises seven volumes, totaling more than 13,000 entries. Each volume consists of around 600 three-column pages.
