This concordance to the Syriac New Testament not only aims to serve as a useful tool for both Biblical and Syriac studies, but also aims to topen up the way to new developments in Syriac scholarship. The work has been designed so that it will be of service not only to scholars but also to the clergy and laity of all the Syriac Churches - Syrian Orthodox, Church of the East, Chaldean, Syrian Catholic, Syro-Malabar, Syro-Malankara - for whom the Peshitta constitutes their standard traditional text of the New Testament.
