In the redrawn territories of our time, the architectural project enters into a relationship with the visible and intangible traces of historical identities that have stratified the reality in which we live every day. The essays in this book are a multi-identitarian collection on the issue of reconciliation of boundaries and conflict, where memories, traces and absences tell the stories of long-awaited rebirths. AUTHOR: Olivia Longo qualified as an architect in 1996, and was awarded her PhD in Architectural Design in 2004. She is Assistant Professor in Architectural and Urban Design at the University of Brescia, having been Assistant Professor in the same disciplinary scientific sector at the University of Palermo between 2005 and 2010. She was a member of two research PRIN Units 2006-2008 and 2011-2013, and since 1996 she has participated in and is responsible for the international research programmes and Summer School at the University of Palermo and Brescia, including the Waterfronts of the Garda in 2016. Since 1999 she has participated in and is editor of international exhibitions, workshops and seminars, including Oceani e coste che vivono, diversita di risorse e attivita sostenibili (EXPO Korea, 2012) and Temporary Cities (Moscow, 2006).
