Daisy Chain II

Daisy Chain, the new photography biannual from Damiani by Phillip Bogart Duncan and Charles Daigrepont Desselle, explores the intersection of art and fashion. It is decadent and surprising, lushly produced yet unfussy. Each issue presents a playful mix of new and seasoned talent, contextualized by a theme and pitched against the backdrop of art history. Its curation pinpoints the current moment, as well as the foundation it springs from. While previously overlooked work is elevated, the canon is interrogated. Elsewhere, fashion photography is promotional product; in Daisy Chain, it is the art itself.

The inaugural edition, "Space," starts with a visual forward by Vince Aletti and includes original work from Thibaut Grevet, Shaniqwa Jarvis, Kuba Ryniewicz, Emma Summerton, and Zeng Wu while reproducing works by Irving Penn, Hans Feurer, Nick Knight, Mert and Marcus, Viviane Sassen and many more.
