Le Miniature Italiane del Kupferstichkabinett Di Berlino

The Kupferstichkabinett of Berlin, built in 1831, is one of the most important galleries of his kind, holding an important collection of Renaissance and modern prints and drawings, as well as a precious group of cut-out manuscripts and miniatures, of Italian, French, Flemish, English and German origin. This new catalog, the first after the one curated by Paul Wescher in 1931, enriches the repertoire with many new works, and offers a detailed study of the collecting dynamics that have gradually brought these masterpieces to the museum.
