Enormous quantities of thrown-out clothes arrive in Prato from all round the world to be recycled and re-used as the raw material for new garments made by the most prestigious fashion brands. The cyclical nature of the operation, the artisanal craftspeople, the wool, the industrial machinery, the workers, the museum masterpieces, the relics and the sense of the sacred in everyday life become the subjects of a desire and of a process of self-recognition.
