All Matthew wanted was to distract himself by wasting a scammer's time. Little did he know that the mail was not a scam, but a sinister invitation to a deadly game.

Matthew is now forced to undertake ten challenges. He does not know why, and though he has been promised a great reward for completing them all, he has no idea what the reward is. The only thing he knows is that failure will result in death.

All of this is orchestrated by Ludicas, a man who's past and past are shrouded in mystery, but has the power to control the minds and bodies of the people around him. Even though Ludicas is responsible for these challenges, he too seems reluctant to put Matthew through this nightmare. Nevertheless, the challenges must continue, and Matthew has no choice but to participate.
