Para muchos profesores, y por razones diversas, la E.S.O. (Ensenanza Secundaria Obligatoria) se ha convertido de algun modo en un territorio hostil. El autor, desde la atalaya que solo la poesia puede brindar, observa lo que ocurre en su profesion y se deja inspirar por lo que hay en ella de cotidiano y anecdotico, pero que por la magia del lenguaje y del sentimiento puede convertirse, si hay suerte, en categoria. Si en un determinado momento el poeta, el profesor, llega a identificarse con una gaviota que cobija a sus polluelos, en otros se transforma en un boxeador, golpeado una y otra vez hasta el limite y que reclama, desde la lona, dignidad para su tarea.
