On the death of Poe, Griswold wrote an obituary surprisingly offensive. This is the story of the sick relationship between Poe and Griswold, attraction, envy and disdain that marked their lives. The novel has a parallel plot in which a deathly pale man who follows in the footsteps of Poe and Griswold at the east coast of the U.S., leaving a trail of blood and fear in his path. The chilling fact is that apparently this is inspired by the works of Poe for the staging of crimes.
