Ramon del Valle-Inclan (Villanueva de Arosa, 1866-Santiago de Compostela, 1936) fue un dramaturgo, poeta y novelista espanol al que se inscribe en la corriente literaria del modernismo en Espana y cuyas ultimas obras se encuentran proximas a la denominada generacion del 98. Prolifico autor, entre sus innumerables obras cabe destacar sus esperpentos, Luces de bohemia y las tres piezas incluidas en Martes de Carnaval (Las galas del difunto; La hija del capitan; y Los cuernos de don Friolera); sus obras narrativas, Sonatas: Memorias del Marques de Bradomin, y Tirano Banderas; o Claves liricas, que reune la totalidad de su obra poetica.
