This a pure comedy in which Princess Madalena manages to lead her humble and shy lover, Don Dionis, to take an interest in her. In one of them, before the arrival of her beloved, the Princess pretends to sleep and talks to him as though in a dream, showing her happiness by having his company; then, upon waking, she allows ample opportunity for him to gain confidence.
