In this thought-provoking exploration of self-reliance and the nature of evil, a young boy sees that he needs to take action to save his family from his unpredictable mother. For Matt, life with their cruel mother is a day-to-day struggle for survival. But then Matt witnesses Murdoch coming to a child rescue in a convenience store, and he feels a glimmer of hope.
