Juan Rulfo’s relations with the cinema were more extensive than what the non-specialist public usually assumes and they cover various fields in this -by definition- multifaceted activity. Douglas J. Weatherford has studied all the angles of this link between Rulfo, his work and cinematography over the years, reviewing public and private archives both in Mexico and in the United States, in addition to gathering documents and testimonies unknown until today to place them in a great research work that Editorial RM and the Juan Rulfo Foundation have edited and whose first volume will be presented in 2020.
