Confessions of Rocio Garcia

Over a series of months, Corina Matamoros maintained a long conversation with the Cuban artist Rocio Garcia on her life and work, in order to understand her singular vision of reality. The result is a broad range of confessions that go from chosen subjects - mainly social, erotic and political - and the influence of comics on her narrative style of painting. As her storyboard paintings demonstrate, Garcia is a visual writer with an extraordinary technique. This volume includes her last works: El Thriller, Very, very Light and very oscuro.
