Luke and Emaline have been going out since freshmen year of high school in the small beach town of Colby. Emaline is aware of how lucky she is; Luke is a great guy. Two months before the start of college she asks herself if perfect is enough. She soon meets a quirky, sophisticated New Yorker named Theo. He thinks Colby is too small a town for Emaline. Emaline’s absentee father also thinks she is destined for far better things and wants her to go away for school and not attend the local university. The young woman would love to attain the moon and more, but she is very comfortable in her own little world. Will she be able to find a balance between the two?
