Born mostly after 1975, these artists are representative of an extraordinary scene that has developed over 15 years around Mexico City. Through the presentation of twenty artists and fifty works by various techniques (installations, sculptures, videos, drawings, photographs), the catalogue brings together works that demonstrate an acute awareness of a geopolitical context particularly strong. The exhibition is designed by the Museum of Modern Art in the City of Paris in collaboration with the Amparo Museum in Puebla, Mexico. It will first be presented to the Museo Amparo from October 15, 2011, then in the space of the ARC MAMVP from March 1 to July 8, 2012. Among the artists selected are: Edgardo Aragon, Diego Berruecos, Mariana Castillo unpacked, Jonathan Hernandez, Arturo Hernandez Alcazar, Bayrol Jimenez, Adriana Lara, Gonzalo Lebrija, Tercerunquinto, Hector Zamora …The exhibition has been curated by Angeline Scherf and Angeles Alonso Espinosa
