According to the World Health Organization (WHO), one in five girls and one in thirteen boys are sexually abused before the age of 17. Sexual abuse, especially inflicted during childhood, condition the future mental, sexual and physical health of a person; in many cases, they remain secret even in adulthood.

Prevention is the best protection against child sexual abuse. Silence is only good for the aggressors. If we do not make the problem visible, we will not be able to put an end to it.

We will create a healthier and safer society for our children if we speak and overcome those taboos.
