The dragon’s blade

They say you can take the ranger out of the corps but never the corps out of the ranger.... Kyall is a wandering mercenary, sometimes an assassin or even a thief, taking whatever jobs he is given as long as they allow him to follow the creed by which he used to live centuries ago. His past is shrouded in mystery and the greatest mystery of all is himself. When he is witness to a gruesome murder he gets involved in a chase to retrieve a magical blade from a rather dubious person, before the wrong people gets their hands on it. But as he gets to know the rangers who are tasked with getting the sword back he disover that this job has connections to his own past and his own mysteries. He dares to open his heart for friendship once more but as they get deeper and deeper into danger it becomes clear that so much more is at stake than just a magical blade, the world may burn, can he face his own demons and do what is needed or will it be too late?
