He later traveled to Norway in 2003 as a refugee without his family. About Francis SolomonHe is an author, an entrepreneur and community servant. Francis Solomon is the founder of the Norwegian non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Giving Hope to a Child that provides scholarships to disadvantaged children in Liberia. He is also currently developing a business that will have a significant positive impact upon the people of his beloved Liberia. This book is an account of my life story. Firstly, it describes my struggle as a child. Secondly, it illuminates the impact of becoming a refugee, together with long-term consequences. Finally, I tell the story of my eight-year nightmarish experience with the Directorate of Immigration in Norway. I’m a refugee, not a criminal.
