Hilaire Belloc, a British-French writer and historian, tells the story of a wealthy Arab to depict and ridicule the upper part of society. The storyline of the wealthy merchant is told through collection of short stories. Each story illustrates a specific weakness in the Capitalist system of the Belloc’s time.
