The story Courtesan and a Psychoanalyst comes out of the author’s real life experiences as a Manhattan shrink. Katie - a psychologist and call girl is the head of an upscale prostitution ring in her spacious apartment in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Katie’s sponsor is an old wealthy womanizer Allen Burk - her sugar-daddy. She meets Joshua - a young stockbroker and signs him up as a client of her services, which she calls a Stress Reduction Clinic. Joshua is also visiting a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Jeffrey Glassman, M. D. in his office next door from Katie’s clinic . The psychiatrist is from a Westchester upper-middle class family with two children and a self-conscious wife. He is also a professor - a man of good moral standing. Jeffrey learns about Katie from Joshua, meets her, and they start a love affair indulging in sexual games. Being infatuated and encouraged by Katie, he oversteps the rules of Political Correctness - he no longer wants to be a puppet of the society , and even breaks the laws finding a medical excuse for it. All goes well until Allen dies one day and Katie has to vacate the apartment. Things get even worse with some more bad luck and all hell breaks out when the police shows up at the door, taking down the story’s all main characters.
