The general aim of this book is to show the difficulties encountered by Executive Secretarial (ES) professionals in entering the job market. To this end, a qualitative study was carried out, with in-depth interviews with Executive Secretarial professionals and Human Resources managers. After analyzing the data, it was found that the difficulties faced by ES professionals in entering the job market are: Lack of vacancies for ES in public tenders, scarcity of vacancies in the private sector; lack of adequate remuneration for the profession; lack of recognition by managers; lack of knowledge of duties and also, a demanding, competitive market.
