The purpose of this research was to develop an Economic Impact Evaluation Model based on operational failures in the Ecuadorian Oil Sector. The sampling was of three (3) events of operational failures with greater recurrence under a quarterly frequency, with a population of five (5) lines of business (processes), with a methodology of evaluation, traceability and controls under software systems such as ISOTOOLS, SHAREPOINT, FRACTTAL and download tools such as Excel and PowerBi, the methodology presented is mixed, since they carry a qualitative and quantitative analysis as they allow to generate qualitative results or deepen the understanding of quantitative results; It has a project design since it intends to develop a practical application project, since it was handled with findings and/or failures presented in the execution of services rendered; it is an action-research since it establishes a subjective analysis with a qualitative approach where it seeks to promote a new approach regarding the costs due to failures in the execution of services.
