This work is carried out in the municipality of Cuanhama, Cunene Province, where the historical behavior of some climatic variables was analyzed: such as maximum and minimum temperature, relative humidity and precipitation during a historical period of ten years (2013-2022) and compared with the year 2023. This research was conducted with information received from the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication. National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics Provincial Meteorological Department of Cunene, where data on maximum and minimum temperature, relative humidity and precipitation were obtained for 11 years. The average maximum temperature of the year analyzed (2023) had a value of 31.58 degreesC, being lower than the historical average, to which I put an annual average value of 34.7 degreesC. The minimum humidity in the year analyzed was 17.2 degreesC higher than the historical average (13.3 degreesC), the relative humidity of the historical average 52.7% was higher than that of the analyzed year 34.0%, rainfall in both cases was low although that of the historical average (37.5 mm) was higher than that of the year 2023 (32.6 mm).
