This research work was designed to investigate Social media advocacy on social issues. The work adopted the survey research method in data gathering and used tables, simple percentages in presentation and analysis of data gathered. Based on concrete findings the research found that, social media was used to disseminate messages about the psychological effects of the adoption of the girls and messages about rallies and movements for the girls were easily shared on social media. It was also found that multiple social media platforms were used to disseminate messages about the Bring Back our Girls campaign.
