Physical education teachers play a fundamental role in children's development, which is influenced by their educational orientations. The aim is to analyze and interpret the teachers' educational orientations and understand how these can influence their teaching decisions when considering coeducation. The VOI-SF questionnaire and a semi-structured interview were used. It showed that there is a positive association between MD and PA and between AR and RS and a negative association of MD in relation to AR, RS and IE orientations. The majority of teachers said that material and spatial resources should be improved and that one lesson a week should be added. They also mentioned that a good teacher should be motivating and knowledgeable, and a competent student should be committed and have a good social attitude. However, the teachers agree with coeducational teaching and teach their classes not by gender, but by level group, which is very beneficial for gender equality and socialization. However, over the years it has become clear that there is a stereotype about which sports are best for boys and girls.
