I hope that La Santeria. Popular Religion of Cuba is not only a simple text where information is compiled from very rich sources as a result of the works carried out by other authors and researchers, but also a book that allows to know better Cuba and its people, where more than 80% of the Cuban population, according to other investigative studies carried out, practices, professes or has had some link with this religion that is not magic nor solves everything, but it has served as a balm to calm many of our ills, it has helped to achieve many of our enterprises and aspirations. A religion in which housewives, workers, military, politicians, diplomats, intellectuals, scientists, artists and people of the people have been initiated, which has made it more than a Cuban religion, a world religion.
