Iodinated contrast nephropathy (ICN) is increasingly encountered in interventional cardiology. It is the third most common cause of acute renal failure in hospitals, after functional renal failure and drug-induced causes. It is a formidable complication that can hamper clinical prognosis and make subsequent management of patients more difficult. Several factors can predict the occurrence of this entity.
