Law No. 10.436/02 officially recognizes the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) as a language. In addition, Decree No. 5.626/05, which regulates this law, ensures not only that this language is taught in teacher training courses, but also that educational institutions are responsible for disseminating and promoting research in the area of Brazilian Sign Language. In view of this, the aim of this work is to produce a bilingual dictionary in the field of beekeeping, both in Portuguese and in LIBRAS, based on the lack of this material, which is so significant for communicational accessibility. The research methodology is bibliographical, exploratory and qualitative. In order to select the technical terms, the work went through four stages: the dictionary of sign terms, research into beekeeping manuals, such as EMBRAPA - Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (2007); SEBRAE - Micro and Small Business Support Service (2006); Magalhaes and Borges (2012), among others.
