The book explores the effects of various drip irrigation configurations and regimes on cumin productivity over two growing seasons . The study employs a split-split plot design, analyzing eighteen treatment combinations of irrigation levels (0.6, 0.8, and 1.0 IW/ETc), lateral spacings (60 cm, 70 cm, and 80 cm), and emitter geometries (hexagonal and triangular).Findings reveal that an irrigation regime of 0.8 IW/ETc maximizes seed yield (1255.78 kg/ha) while minimizing water wastage. The optimal lateral spacing is 60 cm, and triangular emitters provide better water distribution and yield attributes compared to hexagonal emitters. Economically, the best configuration yields the highest gross income (Rs. 156,108.7/ha) and net income (Rs. 90,894.7/ha) with a benefit-cost ratio of 2.39.This book serves as a valuable resource for field Engineering, Agronomist and Farmers aiming to optimize cumin production through effective irrigation practices.
