Digital watermarking therefore appears to be the best solution for verifying the integrity of medical images and locating altered areas in the event of fraud.The research contributions presented in this book focus on the development of digital watermarking techniques for verifying the integrity of digital medical images and locating altered areas.A new method of digitally watermarking medical images based on semi-fragile watermarking is also proposed. The principle is to combine the properties of fragile and robust watermarking. This is an intermediate situation in which the tattoo is resistant to a specific set of attacks, but fragile to others.
