We know that fairy tales continue to enchant children and adults to this day with their stories full of plot and romance. But why has this literary genre taken root? As a result of research carried out to complete the Pedagogy course at the Federal University of Parana, the authors Jaqueline and Amanda present in this book relevant aspects about the important role of literature in the education of children, with a focus on Fairy Tales. The book discusses various thinkers and theorists in the field and brings up different and important aspects present in Fairy Tales, which help in the personal, social and educational development of children in Early Childhood Education. In addition, the authors present the record of an observation carried out in two different educational institutions, located in Curitiba - Parana.
