Understanding the Actuality of Karl Marx’s Philosophy

The aim of this work is to show the topicality of Marxist philosophy. It has become fashionable today to acknowledge the "topicality of Marx". His critique of the exploitation of labor, his anticipation of globalization and his prediction of the inevitability of periodic crises in capitalism are immediately attracting renewed interest. Marxism, with its socio-economic and political considerations, remains an important philosophy at the start of the new millennium. This philosophy has achieved theoretical and practical effectiveness in various countries. Several countries have undergone a social revolution inspired by this thought, which is still the subject of debate among intellectuals, journalists, philosophers, economists and politicians. But is Marx still relevant today? This is the fundamental question. We answer in the affirmative, for Marx is topical, as the following line attests: "No contemporary gives a full account of all aspects of the work of Marx and Engels, shows all its greatness, defines the universal historical significance of the doctrine they created".
