As part of the efforts of "Education for Democratic Citizenship" to improve education in Austria, the problem of various forms of violence is to be addressed. Education in a complex society is initially based on the premise of child and youth orientation, which is reflected in methodological considerations in the direction of differentiated, student-activating and open lessons, indicating an intensification of efforts in school education, which is particularly evident in school life. Teachers' educational efforts are not spared from phenomena of violence. Social incompatibilities, migration, various overt and covert forms of violence necessitate educational considerations in the context of this project. The author hopes to be able to make a contribution to updating the subject area in the areas addressed. The structure of the project is based on the areas of media/ publicity - representations, school/ education - upbringing, religion/ values - world view, violence prevention/ prevention and anthropology/ human - environment - relationship.
