The introduction of the Script Concordance Test (SCT) in the formative evaluation of gynaecology-obstetrics residents will enable an exploration of the organisation of knowledge, which is an essential element of clinical competence. To assess the contribution of the CHT to the evaluation of clinical reasoning in obstetrics and gynaecology residents.A CHT based on 20 vignettes and comprising 59 questions was developed and validated, then tested on 20 obstetric gynaecology residents. The average concordance of the answers obtained by the experts was 66.67%, for the department's residents, with an overall average of 9.04/20 and a significant difference between the average for senior residents and junior residents (p=0.0023). The coefficient of validity and reliability of the CHT in our series was satisfactory, with a Cronbach's coefficient ?= 0.9.The CHT could be considered for residents to improve clinical reasoning in the face of uncertainty and to learn to mobilise prior knowledge and adapt it to clinical situations.
