The right to education in Madagascar is struggling to become a reality, despite a number of initiatives and commitments on the part of the State, NGOs and associations at both local and international level. It is in this quest to make this fundamental right effective that the Malagasy Lasallians, together with various Lasallian groups and entities around the world, are making their contribution. The aim of the present work is to analyze the Lasallian commitment to the implementation of the right to education. Following several reflections based on documentary research and field investigation, this research work focuses on the Lasallian perspective of the right in Madagascar. It aims to answer the question "How do today's Malagasy Lasallians exercise their educational mission in order to guarantee this right?" The aim of our study is therefore to propose an outline of a Malagasy Lasallian educational project to be implemented in order to make a significant contribution to the realization of the right to education in Madagascar. Such an academic approach is a contribution towards the Lasallian commitment to the right to education in the Big Island.
