Marguerite Duras’s L'Amant

L'Amant, based on the novel by Marguerite Duras (1984) and the film by Jean-Jacques Annaud (1992), is published in 2020 by Kan Takahama, published by Rue de Sevres. It's an original and innovative graphic transposition, exploring various themes while raising the difficulties of the transition from novel to comic strip. How does the graphic-narrative system unfold? What themes are addressed and what potential does the graphic image have?
