Teaching in the Higher Education Subsystem requires teachers to have knowledge of various teaching methodologies, so that their application enables the creation of an inclusive classroom environment, where the teacher plans according to the various levels of assimilation in the classroom, thus avoiding making some students invisible. The aim of this research is to analyze the teaching methodologies used in Higher Education in Angola, with a focus on the Cuito Cuanavale University, thus making it possible to have an overview of the teaching methodologies applied and to identify possible areas for improvement in order to improve the quality of teaching at the institution. For this research, taking into account the scope of the subject, it was deemed appropriate to use the research approach, a single case study of an exploratory nature, with a mixed approach. This research initially looked at higher education in Angola, focusing on the history of Cuito Cuanavale University, followed by a brief explanation of university teaching and teaching methodology in the subsystem.
