Vaginismus is a significant problem in the lives of some women, due to involuntary contractions of the perineal muscles and its different types. We carried out a descriptive cross-sectional and retrospective study. The main cause of pain in women with vaginismus was pain related to vaginal touch, accounting for 60%. Most obstetricians continue to monitor these women with vaginal touches, with a percentage of 55%. Thus, 72.5% of our population affirm that women suffering from vaginismus have a normal labor of the same duration as other non-vaginic parturients. These women generally have a dystocic delivery, with a percentage of 72.5%, and are candidates for epidurals in 92.5% of cases, where the usual monitoring rhythm is used in 62.5% of cases. Caesarean section is the most common mode of delivery for 67.5% of the population, and is performed as an emergency in 70% of cases.
