Teachers are one of a nation's most important human resources, as they share a common public service mission: the education of future generations. As research shows, the strength, value and quality of any education system depend to a large extent on the work of its teachers. With this in mind, this study aims to answer the following questions:1) What is the quality of life of teachers in the city of Goma, and what are its components?2. does quality of life differ according to teachers' profiles and institutions?To analyze the data, a principal component analysis will be applied to identify the components of the QUALITY OF LIFE concept.ANOVA results show that there is a significant difference in QoL scores between private and public sector teachers; between QoL scores and the nature of the agreement with the state; between QoL scores and household size; and between QoL scores and teachers' income.
