Venous ulcers are a common chronic pathology. It is the most common ulcer of the lower limbs. It requires multidisciplinary management and is a major socio-economic burden. Accurate diagnosis of venous insufficiency and its risk factors is a means of controlling the disease.Our work is a retrospective descriptive study carried out in the dermatology department at the Tunis Military Hospital, spread over a period of 11 years (January 2008 to December 2019).Our study included 24 patients meeting the inclusion criteria (patients hospitalized for leg ulcers of venous origin). We detailed the epidemiological data of the patients, the clinical data of the ulcers and the peri-ulcer skin, the complementary examinations, the complications and the therapeutic management.We have also discussed in detail the therapeutic means of ulcers and venous insufficiency.
