"Bora Treinar? - Uma Reflexao Sobre uma Metodologia nos Treinos de Dancas Urbanas" ("A Reflection on a Methodology in Urban Dance Training") is the conclusion of a course by dancer Maryana Cavalcanti Nunes. This research was developed through independent studies on the subject, field research with 4 participants and a 30-minute dance show. However, in order for the author and her participants to achieve significant results, it was necessary for them to have at least 5 years of dance practice, a strong background in Urban Dance and a period of one year of training with the methodology proposed in the study. This study presents ideas about a different form of psychomotor learning, most commonly found in the world of Urban Dance, "training". Thus, by combining in-depth research with a targeted practical experience and a dance show, this work was born, in which the artistic and pedagogical side of the subject is contemplated.
