In the case of Indonesia, most of the tourist attractions offered and advertised are national parks or protected forests. They are protected for preservation, not for advertising to attract large numbers of visitors. There is often a gap between the ideal and the reality. Good ecotourism management is believed to mediate the two interests. This study aims to determine the management of ecotourism destinations to create local small businesses related to five ecotourism destinations namely West Bali National Park, Lake Buyan Area, Batur Geopark Museum, Mangrove Denpasar Bali, and Lembongan Mangrove. This research includes surveys, direct observation, interviews, literature review, and literature analysis. Data were collected through surveys and observations at ecotourism destinations in Bali. By providing management opportunities, community income can be increased through the establishment of small businesses related to ecotourism potential, thus increasing incentives to participate in ecotourism management.
