Ethiopia's economy is characterized by smallholder subsistence farming with more than 85 percent of the population depending on agriculture for their livelihood. Farmers' Organizations are believed to play a crucial role in curbing lack of modern inputs and access to markets by providing services ranging from making credit and modern inputs available to creating market opportunities and selling members' output. This survey study was aimed at Leadership Performance Assessment of Farmers Organization: The Case of Selected Woredas in South West Shewa Zone of Oromia National Regional State.In the study area, there are various problems facing Farmers' Organizations. The objective of this study is to address those many problems identified in this study in the study area. The target populations for this study were committee members of Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Societies. For the sake of achieving the objectives of this study, purposive sampling method was followed to select nine Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Societies and a total of one hundred thirty-eight (138) respondents.
