One project, one fight

The Community Association Recycling for Life (ACREVI) is an association of waste pickers who, for 18 years, have been working in the selective collection of solid waste in the city of Mossoro - RN, as a way of generating income and social inclusion. The members are people who, for various reasons, were looking for an identity and, by joining ACREVI, they were able to reintegrate themselves into the work of collecting and sorting rubbish. This research provides a better understanding of this project, making an analogy with the Solid Waste Law.
