The aim of this book was to analyse the factors in the classroom that lead to stress in the teaching profession at the Anani State School. It used descriptive exploratory methodology and field research with 30 teachers with a quantitative approach, because it was decided to analyse classroom working hours, whether or not physical activity is practised, time for leisure and the difficulties and various vulnerable situations that professionals encounter in the face of stress. Teacher stress is further aggravated by the limitations to which the school subjects teachers in terms of expressing their anxieties, frustrations and emotions. The results point to some of the most common stress situations experienced by teachers, and that the process of teacher illness occurs mainly due to double or triple working hours in order to obtain a higher salary, excessive working hours which have been one of the main reasons for the development of stress, a fast pace, lack of working conditions, among others. The conclusion is that stress is a daily occurrence in the lives of teachers, making them vulnerable to both physical and emotional discomfort.
