Myths explain to people how to live with the time, not against it. They are the key to preserving historical memory, building the continuity of epochs, as, for example, modernity was followed by postmodernity, and then by metamodernity.The present political order of the metamodern is characterized by the combination of opposing political myths (by the example of the harmonious coexistence of the myth of globalization and the myth of identity) and by the creation of new mythological constructs, like the pre-election image of Macron, the candidate of all the French .
